Family Friendly Activities In Washington This Thanksgiving Season

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for what we have and for families to come together to celebrate over a turkey dinner. There are many activities across the state to bring your family together outside for the short holiday.

If your family is competitive and you want to get moving this Thanksgiving, on Saturday, November 16th in West Seattle, join the first Annual West Seattle Cranksgiving. Cranksgiving is a thanksgiving Scavenger hunt where all proceeds go to the West Seattle Food Bank. With a team of 4, you will bike to a grocery store and purchase items to donate to the food bank. What’s in it for you? Well, trust us, there are also lots of prizes to be won.

And many others.

If races don’t spark your interest for a family Thanksgiving weekend, on November 29th the Macy’s Holiday Parade takes place in Seattle, WA. with marching bands, costumed characters and a special visit from Santa Claus. November 29th is also Free State Park Day. You can get into any of the 140 state parks that day for free for a picnic or some family fun.
